Everyone did a nice job in bringing samples of retraction towers. Bill led the group in reviewing the parameter settings in Cura. Didn&#8217;t have to do adjusting.  See his<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/cbimakerspace.com\/E3club\/members\/wlhutton\/mediapress\/test-cat\/\" target=\"_blank\"> pics here<\/a>.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A small design of experiments showed that for the Ender 3 you want at least 3 mm of retraction and somewhere between 45 and 50 mm\/sec rate. The default rate out of the box for Ender 3 in Cura is 5 and 45 respectively. See the Workflow document for detailed results.
