Rural Energy for America Program (REAP)

REAP offers grants for the purchase and installation of renewable energy generating systems. Assistance is limited to small businesses, farmers and ranchers. Projects must be located in a rural area. It is designed to promote rural economic development by assisting rural businesses to become more energy efficient. These grants may cover up to 25% of the cost for eligible renewable energy and energy efficient projects.

Grants Range: $2500-$500,000

Grant Deadline: April 30, 2014
