The next event highlighting 3D printers at the Cumberland Business Incubator (CBI) will be the first meeting of the new CBI Maker Community, Labville.  A Maker Community is made up of people of all ages and interests that get together to discuss their inventions, ideas and develop prototypes.  The challenge for this first meeting of the CBI Labville Maker Community is to bring your broken things to see if they can be repaired using the printout from a 3D printer.

Nick and Michael Hankins, Stackhouse3D of Cookeville will feature their Prusa Mendel Kit printer and a tri-pod based Rostock Max Delta printer using PLA plastic material.  Tom McDunn, TPM Technologies of Crossville will have his MakerBot Replicator printer using ABS plastic material and his brand new tri-pod based Rostock Max Delta printer available.

Have a golf ball retriever with broken grip fingers or other things that needs fixing?  Bring it to the Maker Community to see how useful a 3D printer can be!  Bring your challenges as well as your ideas for printed products.   All are welcome.
