Join Vince as he teaches you how to use our ShopBot, a CNC (computer numerically controlled) router for milling, drilling, and cutting of wood, plastic, metal, and other materials. In this Safety & Basic Use class you will make a wooden sign. Prerequisites: None, CAD design and woodworking knowledge a plus. Closed-toed shoes required, hearing and eye protection provided. Once you successfully complete this class you can use the ShopBot during open volunteer hours for a low $10 daily or a $40 monthly rate.
