This creative woodworking class is a multi-session project held from March 17-20, 2025 in which participants will create a finished charcuterie board. During the project class you will utilize various power tools in the CBI Maker Space and learn wood finishing techniques with guidance from the instructor, Gene Peters. The raw wood pieces are provided by the Maker Space. Eye and ear protection is available.
This 5-day class will meet Monday March 10th through Friday March 14th from 8:00am – 5:00pm each day.

America’s Cutting Edge (ACE) is a national initiative to restore the prominence of the U.S. machine tools sector. Through ACE, you can receive free online training and also qualify for hands-on, in-person training that can put you on a path to a career (or advancement, for existing workers) in the machine tool industry. No prior training or experience is required.
A clinic where beginners can come and learn the free CAD tool named Onshape. Experienced users are welcome as well. The first half is reviewing the basics. The second half is modeling various objects for practice.

There is no cost to be a member and generally we have meetings on a monthly basis with various technical topics infused with a pizza party (Everyone chips in).
